Jane Gosnell acted as architect, sustainable design advisor and project manager for our new house construction project in Bassoues. It was very important to develop this green-field site keeping the traditional architectural elements and spirit of Bassoues with its XIII century tower within 300 meters.
Jane and her architectural technician were invaluable in proposing the right structural and design elements in translating my original idea into a practical project in record time.
Jane’s intimate knowledge of the intricacies of the approval processes, terminology and local artisans were a welcome plus. The team assembled were all locally sourced artisans who were well versed in local building requirements, and were very dependable. Of note were two "gems" who brought outstanding craftsmanship to their trades for painting and decorating and finishing carpentry and joinery. Everyone’s efforts delivered a unique, high-quality, one-off, custom structure which we are proud to call ours.
In summary Jane Gosnell was an integral part of delivering this complicated and unique project. Her expertise in project management and dealing with artisans was key to the success of the project, which was delivered on budget.
Finally her problem-solving ability and her intimate knowledge of sustainable development techniques enhanced the experience.
I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Jane and her team to anyone with a new project, especially if one is not present to manage the process personally, as was the case with myself.
